Payton was 3 years old when she started running a 104 fever and rash head to toe. We went to the doctors 3 days in a row with no answers on what was going on. She had tested negative for everything. We ended up taking her to the emergency room the one night and they ended up giving her an ekg since her heart rate was so high. Everything came back clear and the doctor just said it was strep throat with out testing her. Went back to her regular pediatrician the next day and still no answers but new symptoms as her diaper area was beat red with little white dots all over it. Still confused they told us to come back in 2 days if didn’t get better. The next morning her doctor called and told us that she believed it was Kawasaki and that she would meet us at the office as she was at her husbands surgery. We met and was sent straight to the hospital and they ran a few test before the started the medicine. We stayed 2 nights there. She was cleared a few months later from the cardiologist.
